The Earthville Network is a global community of local initiatives to create a more compassionate and sustainable world.
It is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) public charity in the United States and operates charitable programs in other countries through its affiliated projects.
Mission: To focus the power of human creativity and caring to forge a more compassionate and sustainable global village.
Strategy: Catalyze the development of people, places, and programs advancing our progress toward sustainability and harmony with solutions and models that are locally appropriate and globally replicable.
In other words: We "think globally and act locally" all across the planet, transforming our world one person and one community at a time. This is the meaning of our motto: Building community to heal our world, face-to-face and place-to-place.
Here are a few examples to give you the flavor of Earthville's diverse charitable activities:
We're also working toward a long-term vision for altruistically-oriented ecovillages and urban service-learning institutes across the globe, and several other inspiring initiatives. For more information on Earthville's charitable projects and programs, see our "What We Do" page.
