GAIA SURVEYS MIDDLE EAST PEACEMAKERS

WORLDWIDE PARTICIPATION REQUESTED
MAY 8, 2003

OAKLAND: The Global Alliance for Interfaith Action (GAIA) is conducting a major international survey of organizations and individuals working toward peace in the Middle East. The survey was created by GAIA, with input from its peacemaking partners, to bring the voice and experience of peacemakers to the world, so that supporters of peace will be better informed by the collective experience of these seasoned veterans of the peace movement.

The results will be published and presented in many peacemaking forums, including the Tikkun Teach-In on Middle East Peace to the U.S. Congress, June 1-4 in Washington, D.C. Among many other speakers, present at this conference will be Congressman and Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, Ralph Nader, and best-selling authors Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, and Neale Donald Walsch.

If you are involved with peace work in the Middle East, please take a few moments to fill out this survey. We have created this survey as a tool to support peacemakers like you to tell the world about your work, and to make it easier for funders, political leaders and other supporters to help you more effectively, and increase the peace, through becoming better informed by your experience.

Your participation in this survey will make your voice heard at this important event and will help guide and educate those who wish to support people like you to make peace.

The survey is available at www.gaiaweb.org/survey/.
