1% FOR PLANET EARTHVILLE

OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA, USA: The Earthville Network is pleased to announce that it has been accepted by 1% for the Planet as one of the charitable organizations supported by the environmentally responsible business movement.

1% for the Planet is an alliance of over 1000 businesses around the world that recognize the true cost of doing business and donate at least one percent of their sales to nonprofit organizations working for the environment.

From Earthville's ecovillage projects in the Indian Himalayas (Dharmalaya) to the FSC-certified skate ramps of California (ASEC), we are committed to both traditional and innovative solutions for environmental preservation and ecological sustainability worldwide. 1% for the Planet's acceptance of Earthville as one of their beneficiary organizations means that member businesses of the alliance can count their contributions to Earthville toward their minimum 1% annual commitment.
