Where: EcoMe, at the Almog Junction (near Jericho)

When: January 15, 2012, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm

Language: Arabic, English, and Hebrew

Facilitators: The Sulha team

Many of us in the Middle East feel broken-hearted and frustrated at the recent violent events in our region, and a deep longing for communication from heart-to-heart. We believe that in the power of meeting and sitting together, it is possible to build bridges over the depths of fear, anger, confusion and shame, and to bring hope to a crying heart.

Our intention is to create an opportunity to melt the alienation, despair, and fear, an opportunity to meet eye-to-eye and bring our hearts together in a listening circle. Together we will re-light the flame of faith and peace in talking with each other.

Included in the program: Listening Circles, bonfire under the stars, music and a shared dinner. We are happy and excited to host SiriOm Singh, a Sufi musician and spiritual healer.

Please bring musical instruments and Nis20 to help cover the costs.

Transportation from Jerusalem to EcoMe is available at a cost of Nis30. Please contact Nibal to arrange a ride: 0543257561.

We need volunteers who are willing to help with production of event and leading the listening circles. Please contact Nibal at 0543257561.

The Sulha family joins the call for social justice and invites our Palestinian brothers and sisters to join the circles of talking and listening.
