The Acupressure Bead Research Project was conceived by Dr. Ruth Ackerman to explore the effect of the effectiveness of polarized acupressure beads to treat children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)/Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). A small-scale initial study has been conducted with encouraging results, and now the project seeks additional funding to conduct larger-scale studies.
